This study aims to analyse the testamentary dispositions of the urban oligarchies of Navarre, and especially those of Pamplona, to reflect on their behaviour when it came to choosing burial sites. Their preference for the cathedral, the parish churches and the churches of the urban convents, their interest in maintaining family traditions or establishing new criteria; the desire, in short, to signify in some way their social, juridic and economic prestige when it came to perpetuating their memory through burial spaces.
