Cultura contemporânea e transição digital

É cada vez mais evidente que uma das tarefas centrais do século XXI consistirá em abordar a transformação generalizada e acelerada da cultura provocada pelas tecnologias e infraestruturas digitais. Devido à rápida universalização e planetarização da cibernética, é imperativo que esta questão não seja abordada somente quando todas as suas consequências já se encontrem realizadas. Políticas, epistemologias, ecologias e ontologias devem ser questionadas e moldadas no esforço – e na esperança – que o pensamento seja ainda capaz de produzir cosmologias diferentes, alternativas ou críticas. A introdução à 60ª edição da Revista de Comunicação e Linguagens retoma a noção de “transição digital” para esboçar este quadro crítico e contribuir para o momento atual da questão pela técnica.
