Abstract

Ana Lemos (1964-2022), researcher at the Institute for Medieval Studies and Professor at the French Lyceum Charles Lepierre, left us an important legacy in studying illumination in Portugal internationally. Her activity was divided, among other cultural and artistic manifestations, into research, teaching, theater, and activism for causes in the field of human rights. The tribute texts we present here focus on his academic profile and the friendship relationships created over the years.
