Women in the public sphere: act communicative and deliberative process in ONG Women of Brazil

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the deliberative process present in the Women of Brazil Group in the light of the Habermasian public sphere model, evaluating its contribution to the participation of women in the public sphere based on a bibliographical review on the theme and the case study on the institution. As a result, it is hoped that the descriptive article may contribute to more organizations like this using deliberative processes for the discussion of public interest issues, promoting greater civil participation in the decisions of the State.
