Submissions are considered on the basis of the relevance and originality of their contribution to the state of the art in Pessoa Studies or Modernism Studies, as well as the relevance and clarity of the arguments presented. They must be written in Portuguese or English and accompanied by a brief abstract, in Portuguese and English, as well as the author’s name and institutional affiliation. They should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words in length, including the abstract, notes and bibliography, except in duly justified cases. With regard to the inclusion of images, authors are responsible for securing the rights to use and publish them. These proposals must follow the journal’s guidelines and be submitted via the journal’s platform. Any queries should be sent to the email address estranharpessoa@fcsh.unl.pt. Proposals will be assessed by the editors of each issue, who, if they deem them relevant, will submit them to a double-blind peer review process, in accordance with COPE’s ethical review guidelines
