About the Journal

The Estranhar Pessoa journal, established in 2014 as part of the project under the same name and published annually by the IELT – Institute for the Study of Literature and Tradition, is dedicated to publishing articles that examine the work of Fernando Pessoa and literary, philosophical and artistic modernity. Taking this work and its period as its starting points, the journal is not restricted to a single field, discipline or perspective, welcoming contributions of various kinds.
Apart from the common denominator of a body of work and a period, the quality of the articles is ensured by independent peer review and editorial guidance. The journal regularly publishes Thematic Issues, defined by the editors of each issue, whilst also accepting submissions at any time that go beyond a specific thematic focus.
